It is no secret that one of Big Box Container’s favourite things to do is to support Schools around our beautiful country, but when Beaumont Primary School in Somerset West passed a note in class to ask if Big Box Containers would be their new “Beau”, we immediately ticked the YES block and passed the note back. All jokes aside, helping this school keep up with their additional space demands opened up an opportunity for a great friendship between Beaumont Primary and Big Box Containers.
Here is how we were able to give them a Big Box Boost with our Big Boxes to help them serve their expanding school community better.
Merkava Coffee Roasters Event Box Container
For the past few years, a beautiful blue 6m Big Box Container, inhabited by Merkava Coffee Roasters, graced the Beaumont school grounds. It served the parents of sporting children delicious blends of coffee as they watched their little hockey and rugby players next to the sports field. This Merkava event box container is receiving a brand new revamp, designed by Charmaine Burger, a Beaumont school mom and director at CharmiB Art & Architecture. It will also be moved to a more convenient and accessible location on the school grounds to help parents get their caffeine fix during drop-offs and pick-ups or early mornings next to the sports field.
Big Box Ablution Solution
After drinking cups and cups of coffee next to the sports field, nature is sure to call. Big Box and Beaumont, together with architectural technologist mom Charmaine Burger, have the perfect solution to this problem. Brand new Ablution Containers, with Charmaine’s stamp of design approval, will be placed next to the hockey field for the exclusive use of cheering parents. By eliminating the conundrum of grown adults squatting over primary school toilets, we are creating an opportunity for parents to not have to rush back home but rather socialise with each other after sports matches, further strengthening the bond of this already tight school community.

The blossoming friendship between Big Box and Beaumont actually started a few years ago with two sponsored 6m Storage Containers. These beauties are situated next to the hockey field.
