Making a difference in our world is one of our biggest Big Box passions. With the help of Karlien van Jaarsveld and Unchain Our Children, an NPO working with women and children who have suffered unimaginable abuse, we were able to shine our little light and enable dedicated volunteers to continue nurturing the women and children in the Pretoria West community.
Karlien is a keen advocate for children’s rights and wellbeing. At Big Box Containers we believe in a close relationship with our stakeholders and our communities. We have a longstanding relationship with Karlien and we know that she is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. When she introduced us to Unchain Our Children, we knew that Big Box Containers could also make a difference in the day-to-day operations of this amazing NPO’s new Hornsnek Crèche project in Pretoria West.
Two, fully insulated containers, with air conditioning and beautifully painted to create a warm and inviting nursery school, were delivered to their property and handed over by our Big Box representative, Loraine Swart to Wayne van Onselen, Founder and Executive Director of UOC with Karlien present.
We hope that these two container classrooms will be the start of Big things and can provide the difference you require. We salute you for the good work that you do in our community and feel honoured to be involved.
